Drake women's basketball announces dates for Iowa, Iowa State games

The Drake women’s basketball team will quickly find out what type of season they’re in store for during the 2025-26 campaign.

Drake’s daunting non-conference schedule, which was released Aug. 26, includes rivalry games against Creighton, Iowa State and Iowa, all in November.

The Bulldogs officially open the season on Nov. 3 with a road trip to Eastern Illinois. But that’s just the start of things.

Drake will host Creighton on Nov. 9 and then play at Iowa on Nov. 13.

Iowa State will visit the Knapp Center on Nov. 20.

The Bulldogs will play a pair of neutral-site matchups against yet-to-be-determined opponents as part of the Music City Classic on Nov. 25 and 26 in Nashville, Tenn.

The final non-conference game of the schedule will feature Minnesota on Dec. 21 at the Knapp Center.
