FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The University of Arkansas Chancellor, Dr. Charles F. Robinson, sent a letter to students, faculty and staff addressing the active shooter calls that law enforcement believes to be a hoax.

Robinson gives details on the call and the response from law enforcement. He also details how the school's RazALERT system works and offers mental health services to those affected by the events.

"As we move forward from the series of reports of active threats on campus that we received yesterday, I want to express my gratitude to UAPD and the many other law enforcement agencies, as well as faculty and staff, who responded quickly to help ensure our campus was safe," Robinson said
