The Park City Police Department reported a series of recent cases on roads or otherwise involving vehicles, as late-summer tourism traffic, commuters and others continued to arrive in the community.

The reports involved a variety of issues, including someone described as an erratic driver and hit-and-run accidents.

The Police Department’s weekly logs typically include numerous traffic-related issues. Speeding, especially, has long been one of the chief traffic-related complaints of Parkites, but the community also is leery of other categories of offenses.

Some of the recent cases included: • On Friday, Aug. 22, at 11:41 a.m., the Police Department received information about a person in a Subaru Outback driving erratically and “using the bus lane” on S.R. 224. The driver was also “unab
