A Norwich man was arrested on felony charges after police found a loaded handgun in his car, Norwich police said.

According to a news release from the Norwich Police Department, officers discovered a loaded 9mm handgun during traffic stop Monday, Aug. 25 on South Broad Street in that city. Police had received a complaint about an erratic driver. When they stopped the vehicle in question, they saw the loaded 9mm handgun with a 15 round magazine seated in the pistol, the release stated.
