Bookworms, get read-y. The Baltimore Book Festival is almost here.
The 26th annual festival will return Sept. 13 and 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. The event is free, open to the public, and will take place in Baltimore’s Waverly neighborhood between Greenmount and Barclay avenues from 30th to 32nd streets.
The festival will feature author talks, workshops, and youth programming across six themed stages.
The event will showcase both seasoned and emerging writers, spanning a wide range of literary genres.
There will also more than 120 literary vendors, interactive activities for readers of all ages, food, drinks, and live entertainment.
A kickoff event will take place Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. at Peabody Heights Brewery.
