BEEBE, Ark. — Beebe police are investigating an incident they say happened on Monday night.
During the incident, officers responded to a shots-fired call at Beebe High School around 10:56 p.m.
When they arrived, police say they found a vehicle with one bullet hole and a juvenile with minor injuries believed to be caused by shrapnel from the bullet hitting the vehicle.
"It's kind of scary to know that you went to sleep and there's a shooting literally in your front yard," said Christin Tharp, who is the mother of two and lives on the street adjacent to the high school.
Tharp said she was home that night but had no idea what happened until the next day.
