ANDERSON, Calif. - Shasta County Supervisors today approved changes in the lease agreement it has with the City of Redding to expand the Sheriff's Office alterative custody program.

Just a week after the Board of Supervisors approved a lease agreement with the City of Redding, the item was back in front of them on Tuesday.

It's due to the City of Redding wanting state approval that the site on Eastside Road being leased to the county is considered 'surplus property' before it signs off on the agreement, along with other minor changes.

It comes after Vice Mayor Mike Littau met with Supervisors Crye and Plummer to iron out the details last week.
