This past weekend, the U.S. Navy Reserve held its Change of Command ceremony at the Navy Reserve Operations Center at Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, honoring a long-standing naval tradition

The outgoing Commanding Officer is Captain Christopher N. Seeley. The incoming Commanding Officer is Captain Robert Bogan.

At the heart of the ceremony is the formal reading of official orders by both the relieving officer and the officer being relieved, symbolizing the seamless transfer of leadership and responsibility.
