Cracker Barrel has announced that it will return to using its old logo following public outcry over its new logo design.

As CBS News reports , Cracker Barrel said, “We thank our guests for sharing your voices and love for Cracker Barrel,” the popular Southern-themed restaurant chain announced in a post to social media. “We said we would listen, and we have. Our new logo is going away and our ‘Old Timer’ will remain.”

Last week, it announced that it was changing its logo to remove the image of a man sitting in a chair leaning against a barrel, and replacing it with a logo that only featured its name.

The Tennessee-based Cracker Barrel, which has more than 650 locations in 44 states, lost nearly $100 million in market value after releasing the new logo, which was part of an ongoing effor
