MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WEVV) — Students at Madisonville North Hopkins High School are transforming a shipping container into a medical clinic destined for Liberia.

Brian Welch, the FFA advisor and agriculture teacher at Madisonville North, shared his insights on the initiative.

"So behind me is the freight box challenge—it is coined that because we have a shipping container that we are challenging the students to turn into a medical clinic that will eventually be set for Liberia on the upper West coast of Africa," Welch said.

This project marks the second time students have worked on converting a shipping container into a medical facility, with support from Harper Freight Tools for Schools.
