HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Authorities are searching for a suspect who allegedly shot a man while at a bus stop in southwest Houston on Tuesday evening.
According to METRO police, the shooting happened at around 6:55 p.m. at a bus stop near 8310 W. Belfort.
Officials say the suspect allegedly fired shots at the victim and fled the scene.
METRO police say that the suspect is described as a Black male wearing a white T-shirt.
The male victim was taken by EMS to Ben Taub Hospital, where he is in critical condition.
An investigation is ongoing while METRO police and the Houston Police Department are actively searching for the suspect.
