REDDING, Calif. — The Redding Police Department is seeking the community's help in finding a hit-and-run suspect who led police on a chase after ramming a police car on Friday, August 22.

According to Redding Police, 39-year-old Daniel Ogram has been identified as the driver of a truck involved in a hit-and-run that seriously injured two motorcyclists. Officers later saw him leaving his home in the same truck, prompting a pursuit when he refused to stop.

Officers stated that during the chase, Ogram intentionally hit a police vehicle before eventually abandoning his truck at the dead end of Forgotten Lane and fleeing on foot. Despite an extensive search, including a K-9 unit and air support from the California Highway Patrol, he remains at large.
