Incumbent District 7 Mobile City Councilwoman Gina Gregory will begin another term in office after defeating challenger Robert Battles Tuesday night.

Unofficial election returns show Gregory, who was first elected in 2005, won 3,601 votes, while Battles only earned 1,710 votes. At the time of publication, District 7’s precincts are 83 percent reported.
