TYLER, Texas (KETK) -- Tyler ISD's Early College High School has been ranked as one of the top schools in the nation by U.S. News and World Report.
The school earned a score of 95 out of 100, placing it 807th out of nearly 18,000 schools evaluated.
U.S. News and World Report uses six indicators to determine high school scores, including college readiness and state assessment performances. These criteria help identify schools that excel in preparing students for higher education.
“We are thrilled to receive this recognition from U.S. News & World Report,” ECHS Principal Amanda Hortman said. “This accomplishment reflects the hard work of our students, teachers and staff, as well as the success of our Early College program in preparing students for both higher education and future careers.
