TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) -- Charges are expected today against a mother of four who investigators said admitted to drowning her 4-year-old son at Atwood Lake on Saturday.

Tascarawas County Sheriff Orvis L. Campbell says the Amish woman believed she was talking to God and that he was telling her and her husband to do certain things to test their faith.

Those "tasks" they performed lead to the death of Marcus Miller and the couple's young son, Vincen.

At a news conference detailing the bizarre events that occurred Saturday, Sheriff Campbell said the woman told investigators "that she put the 4-year-old in the water to give to God."
