Cracker Barrel announced Tuesday it would revert to its classic logo following widespread social media backlash , including criticism from President Donald Trump .
Last week, the chain restaurant, which has more than 650 locations across the United States and 70,000 employees, said it was changing its logo to a “fresh” look and would be eliminating its “Old Timer” logo featuring a man next to a barrel.
The change lasted only a few days.
“We thank our guests for sharing your voices and love for Cracker Barrel. We said we would listen, and we have. Our new logo is going away and our ‘Old Timer’ will remain,” the company said in a statement posted early Tuesday evening on X.
