RAWLINS -- The City of Rawlins on Monday, Aug. 25, appointed Randy Flamig as interim recreation director.

In this role, Flamig will oversee the Recreation Center, shooting ranges, and Rochelle Ranch Golf Course, according to the Monday press release.

“Randy brings energy and a strong commitment to the recreation opportunities the city provides,” said Acting City Manager Michael Ward. “The City team is here to support the department, and we know Randy will do a great job as the Interim Director.”

Flamig has been a member of the Recreation Department since April 2021 and was honored as Employee of the Fourth Quarter in 2024 for going above and beyond to enhance the city’s recreation offerings.
