As a Salt Lake City councilmember and a lifelong advocate for community-driven planning, I believe no conversation about our city’s future is complete without hearing directly from the people most affected. That’s especially true on the west side.

Our neighborhoods — Westpointe, Jordan Meadows, Rose Park, Fairpark, and beyond — are vibrant, diverse, and full of promise. But they also bear the brunt of many challenges: air pollution, increasing traffic, a rising cost of living and rapid industrial growth.
