HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — A grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony will take place in Hopkins County Wednesday, August 27th.

Officials say this will take place at the Family YMCA.

The celebration will mark the completion of the new Badgett Family Aquatics Center.

Everyone is invited as the YMCA prepares to open and launch swim programs to the community.

We're told Olympic Gold Medalist, Lilly King, will join in on the celebration as well.

The ceremony will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 150 YMCA Drive in Madisonville.
