A man was electrocuted at Burning Man and flown to a trauma center, according to Pershing County Sheriff Jerry Allen.

Allen told the Reno Gazette Journal he was advised that the person was flown to a trauma center Tuesday night after another rainstorm closed the gates to Burning Man. People inside the gates were told to shelter in place.

Online, Burning Man warned people of the dangers of wet conditions again Wednesday morning.

"Keep all cables, plugs, and generators dry and covered. Elevate connections and seal them with electrical tape. Never run a generator or powered gear sitting in water," posts on the festival's website said.
