MINNEAPOLIS —

Emergency crews responded to a shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis on Wednesday morning.

What we know:

Two children, ages 8 and 10, were killed, according to Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara.

Another 17 people were injured, two critically; 14 of them are children. The three adults injured are parishioners in their 80s.

All of the injured victims are expected to survive.

The shooter, a 23-year-old, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A law enforcement official told The Associated Press authorities have identified the shooter as Robin Westman. They had purchased the firearms used in the shooting recently.
