Yesterday (Aug. 26) at 11:55 p.m., Sundre RCMP received a report of a missing 12-year-old boy.

Jimmy Tran was last seen leaving his home in the area of 5 Avenue SW around 6 p.m. He left on a black and orange mountain bicycle and has not been heard from since.

RCMP say they are concerned for his wellbeing. Residents of Sundre are asked to check their backyards, sheds, and businesses for any sign of Tran or his bicycle. Sundre RCMP, Sundre Search and Rescue, and family are actively looking for him.

Tran is described as Vietnamese, five feet tall, 120 pounds with an average build.

He has brown eyes, short brown hair, wears glasses, and speaks both Vietnamese and English. He was last seen wearing a light grey hoodie, green pants, and black and white Croc shoes.
