As a nature-loving gal who has traveled around in a camper, she dreamed of creating a site infused with inclusion and accessibility where everyone felt safe and encouraged in their love for the outdoors. She made that dream a reality in 2022 when Boheme Retreats opened. Located in the Covered Bridge Campsite in Livingston Manor, part of New York’s Western Catskills region, it’s full of restored and outfitted vintage campers, all named after iconic Black women in history.
