HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) - One person was hurt after they were involved in a jet ski crash on Lake Norman Tuesday evening.
The crash happened shortly before 6 p.m. on Aug. 26, near the Huntersville corner of the lake.
said they worked the call with Cornelius police officers and Cornelius-Lemley firefighters. They got the person involved in the crash to the Blythe Landing boat ramp, where paramedics picked them up.
Medic said the person had minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
Firefighters did not say how the crash happened, nor if any other vessels were involved in the incident.
No other information was immediately available.
State wildlife officials were investigating.
Blythe Landing has one of the southernmost boat ramps on Lake Norman, and is right off Highway 73.
