Why live in the Centennial State if you only go to the places where everybody else goes...especially the tourists? These classic watering holes will take you well out of the big cities and tourist towns, and give you a real sense of the people and places that make Colorado Colorado.

Some have survived for more than a century, others are making a comeback. (And one, the circa 1904 Antlers in Yampa, is currently off the list because it's updating its infrastructure after a fire.)
