A shooting at Flossmoor Road and Kedzie Avenue in Flossmoor Tuesday morning left one person injured, police say, but no suspects in custody.
Flossmoor police alerted community members that multiple shots were fired at the intersection a little before noon Tuesday, with initial information suggesting two vehicles traveling west on Flossmoor Road were involved. Police searched the area, but those involved “immediately fled the area,” police said.
Flossmoor police Chief Carl Estelle said the person who was shot was taken to a nearby hospital and was listed as being in stable condition. He declined to say which hospital as police continue investigating.
