A grand jury has decided not to indict a man accused of throwing a sandwich at a federal officer. The incident occurred during a protest, and the man faced potential charges of assaulting a federal officer. However, after reviewing the evidence, the grand jury chose not to proceed with an indictment.

The man, identified as 37-year-old Sean Dunn , was arrested and charged in federal court with felony assaul t on law enforcement following the August 10th incident. He confronted the officers, who were deployed as part of President Donald Trump 's immigration and crime crackdown, outside of a Subway restaurant, where he cursed them out before throwing the sandwich.

He then fled the scene but was quickly detained by officers.
