LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — For a third day, state services have been interrupted in Nevada due to a cyberattack, according to a release from the governor’s office.

On Tuesday, DMV officials said offices would remain closed “until further notice,” with all canceled appointments to be honored as walk-ups during the two-week period following reopening. However, officials provided no guidance on when that reopening might occur.

Officials from the governor’s office said the outage began Sunday morning when the state was targeted in a cyberattack. Federal officials are assisting with the active criminal investigation.

“The state is focused on restoring services safely and validating systems before returning them to normal operation,” the release said.
