PARIS, Ky. (WKYT) — A man is facing several charges after police say he led them on a chase in Bourbon County.

According to a citation from the Paris Police Department, Tuesday night, officers spotted 36-year-old Christopher R. Eversole driving a truck that was running other vehicles off the roadway and failing to maintain lanes.

When officers attempted to stop him, they say Eversole refused to pull over, and a chase ensued.

Police eventually deployed spike strips, and Eversole’s truck came to a stop. However, officers say he still refused to comply.

According to the citation, officers then fired pepper balls into the vehicle before taking him into custody.
