CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. — Prince George's County Police are asking for help identifying a man who left a homemade bomb near a Capitol Heights fire station.

The incident happened two weeks ago around 8 a.m. Surveillance camera footage captured on Aug. 13 shows the man placing the improvised incendiary device near Fire Station 805.

In the video, a man carrying a package walks over to a flagpole and puts down two plastic bottles of what looks like water. He then picks one up and walks a few feet away and puts it back down. Then, he walks back to the flagpole, picks up the bottle he left there, walks over to a mail box and puts the bottle inside, leaving the box open. He then walks away, still holding the package.

Police released that video, along with two pictures of the man carrying the pack
