SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Looking for something fun to do before Labor Day weekend? This Thursday, the California Academy of Sciences is hosting a special NightLife series, welcoming the Souls of Mischief to the stage before the legendary Hiero Day on August 28 at 6 p.m.

Hiero Day is an annual appreciation of the Bay Area’s music, culture, and creativity. This year’s festival takes place at the Midway in San Francisco, honoring the Hieroglyphics, an Oakland based hip hop collective. The Souls of Mischief formed in 1991 as part of the larger Hieroglyphics Collective.

The event will host live music. Hip Hop for Change will be leading three hands-on stations, including graffiti lettering and beatmaking. The event will also include a video game lounge and local vendors from the Bay Area.
