Authorities have identified Robin Westman , a 23-year-old from suburban Minneapolis, as the shooter in a horrific attack at Annunciation Catholic School on Wednesday (August 27). The attack occurred during morning Mass, resulting in the deaths of two children, aged eight and ten, and injuries to 17 others, including 14 children. Two of the injured remain in critical condition.

Westman was armed with a rifle, shotgun, and pistol, and shot through the church windows before dying from a self-inflicted gunshot wound . Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara described the incident as a "deliberate act of violence against children and worshippers."
