HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Hendersonville Police Department and Animal Control apprehended a marsupial Wednesday.

Officials said the mischievous possum was safely retrieved from a trap.

The department said the possum “quickly made bail” and was released back into the wild.
