The next day, those moves continued as teams submitted waiver claims and made additional trades. The Kansas City Chiefs got into action and brought back a familiar face, running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz .
"Sources: The #Chiefs are signing RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, bringing the 2x Super Bowl champion back to Kansas City and to the team that drafted him in Round 1," Schultz wrote.
According to Matt Derrick , Edwards-Helaire will be signed to the practice squad.
Edwards-Helaire was a first-round pick by the Chiefs in the 2020 NFL draft after a stellar career with the LSU Tigers.
