HOLLAND, Mich. — The United States Attorney for the Western District of Michigan said 25-year-old Darian Howard from Holland was sentenced to 25 years after pleading guilty to sexual exploitation of a child.

The charge Howard pleaded guilty to stems from a 911 call in November 2024. A woman called to report she had learned that Howard had taken sexually explicit photographs of her 3-year-old daughter.

Police began investigating and they found that Howard had taken photos of not one, but two three-year-old girls. Among the sexually explicit photos, police also found a video of Howard sexually assaulting one of the young girls.
