GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — As the investigation into a Minneapolis Catholic school shooting on Wednesday continues, people from Grand Rapids are reacting to the news.
On Wednesday, some parishioners at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew in Grand Rapids learned about the news as they were leaving mass.
“It's heartbreaking. Things like that should never occur,” said Joe Susnak.
“We keep praying for peace, but it seems violence just seems to increase, doesn't it?” asked Richard Brisson.
“You walk in and all you feel is peace, and then to think of that being disrupted by gunfire is sad. It's, you know, it's sad,” said Melissa DeSota.
