CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Diocese of Charlotte is reviewing security protocols following a shooting at a Minnesota Catholic school that killed two children and injured 17 others , officials said Wednesday.
Diocese Superintendent Gregory Monroe sent a letter to parents on Wednesday reassuring them that student safety remains the highest priority after the morning attack at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis.
"We are reviewing the events in Minneapolis now to learn and identify any enhancements that could strengthen our own practices," Monroe wrote in the letter.
