CANTON, Ohio (WOIO) - The 33-year-old man accused of killing Ryan Godbey was indicted on charges including murder in Stark County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday.

Canton Police charged 33-year-old Daniel Mattay with murder, felonious assault, strangulation, and domestic violence, and the case was bound over to Stark County Common Pleas Court on July 11.

Now, Mattay is facing the following charges:

Murder

Felonious assault

Strangulation

Escape

Domestic violence

Tampering with evidence

Gross abuse of a corpse

Mattay is being held in lieu of a $3 million cash surety in the Stark County Jail.

His arraignment is set for Aug. 29.
