ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Authorities are asking for the public’s help in solving a triple homicide cold case in DeKalb County.

The DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office and Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta are working to get new leads in the 2017 Stonecrest homicides, the DA’s office said in a press release Wednesday.

As part of the effort to gather new leads, Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $15,000 – a $10,000 increase from the usual reward – for information that leads to an arrest and prosecution in the case, the DA’s office said.

According to investigators, just before 2 a.m. on Aug. 30, 2017, DeKalb County police responded to a person shot at an apartment building in the 5800 block of Par Four Court.
