WASHINGTON (WIS) - A man was arrested after allegedly spitting on two members of the South Carolina National Guard stationed in Washington, D.C.

CNN reports the man, licensed Maryland attorney Scott Pichon, allegedly rode up to two National Guard troops at Union Station on Aug. 22 and “made a noise like he was coughing up mucus.”

Pichon then allegedly spat “a mixture of saliva and mucus” on the two soldiers. It landed on one soldier’s face and the other’s neck, per court documents.

He was arrested Tuesday evening by a deputy US marshal and charged with felony assault.
