The dust is finally beginning to settle on this week's chaotic transaction window around the NFL.

The Detroit Lions trimmed their roster from 90 players to 50 on Tuesday , with many of those players going through waivers and others becoming free agents.

On Wednesday, the Lions announced a 15-player practice squad. Practice squads are capped at 16 players, so just like the 53-man roster, there's still a spot available. One notable position that's absent is quarterback; Hendon Hooker, who was waived by the Lions on Tuesday , is reportedly joining the Carolina Panthers' practice squad.

It'd be surprising to see the Lions go into the regular season without a third quarterback, so one can probably assume that the final spot will be filled by a player at that position.
