GEDDES, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- Every year, the New York State Fair is full of new food and attractions. But some vendors have been here for decades.
For nearly three decades, the Alivero's stand has been part of the New York State Fair.
"I just cannot believe that is coming out of my mouth, that Alivero's has been here for 27 years," said owner Monica Bova.
Bova said it all started with her father and his brother. But after about 10 years, Bova's father took over the vendor.
"It was awesome. I would work for him in the morning, go home, get ready, come back and do the Fair," Bova said.
Bova's father died in 2014, leaving her to carry on the family business. She said a lot has changed at the Fair over the years.
