AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - An Amarillo man already embroiled with legal troubles for his role in an organized theft ring has been arrested a second time for the same charge.
Adam Michael Moreno, 37, was booked into Randall County Detention Center earlier today on a warrant issued out of 181st District Court.
He is charged with organized retail theft in an amount equal to or greater than $750 but less than $2,500.
The charge is a state jail felony punishable by up to 18 months in state jail, but Moreno’s charge is enhanced. This means the punishment could be much more time in prison.
In October, we previously reported that Moreno was one of four men indicted on multiple charges after the theft of over 400 power tools.
