The IHSAA has announced a new media partnership deal that will bring Iowa high school state championship sporting events to multiple regional television stations. The IHSAA announced the decision at noon on Wednesday, August 27.
The new partnership will bring live coverage of state football, wrestling (dual and traditional tournament), swimming, basketball, track and field, soccer, and baseball. The list of stations included in the parternership are KCRG (Cedar Rapids), KSFY (Sioux Falls), KTIV (Mason City/Rochester, MN), KWQC (Davenport), KYOU (Ottumwa), WGEM (Quincy, IL), WOWT (Omaha, NE), North Star Sports Network (MN), and WHO (Des Moines). Select events will also be streaming on the IHSAA.org watch page as well as the IHSAA youtube channel.
