STROUDSBURG, Pa. — With bright colors and jackpot winnings displayed on the screen, skill game machines are popping up inside businesses around Stroudsburg Borough.

Ann Street Mini Mart Owner Sam Sharma says the machines bring in customers.

"It's a pretty popular game, and people come and they will have fun here, they make money," said Sharma.

The businesses with the machines also make money.

Stroudsburg Borough recently approved a new ordinance to tax businesses that have skill game machines.

"They are extremely popular there is a number of businesses in town that have multiple machines, so we are trying to regulate, we don't want to have too many in town, we want to have a variety of business on main street not turn into a casino," said borough manager Larry Kopp.
