MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Dane County Department of Human Services renovated three rooms that are used for family reunifications through Child Protective Services, County Executive Melissa Agard announced Wednesday.

Two of the newly renovated rooms are at the department’s office in south Madison. The other is at the Dane County Job Center.

“Every child and family in Dane County deserves to feel supported as they work toward healing and reunification,” said Agard. “These updated visitation rooms provide safe, nurturing spaces that foster connection, resilience, and hope. By investing in thoughtful, family-centered environments, we are reinforcing our commitment to the well-being of children and parents alike.”

The room at the DCJC features an interactive mural by local artist T.L. Luke.
