Pinellas County launches emergency shoreline project while still waiting for homeowners to sign off

After an unforgettable hurricane season, Pinellas County started the first phase of an emergency beach nourishment project on Wednesday. The work will rebuild and widen the shoreline from Sand Key to Treasure Island and Upham Beach.
