Hyundai Translead has donated a 53-foot refrigerated trailer to the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank to help the organization distribute perishable items, it was announced Wednesday.
The company, a San Diego-based subsidiary of the South Korean automotive company that manufactures dry and refrigerated van trailers, provided the food bank’s staff a tour of its facility along with the donation.
“We are incredibly grateful to Hyundai Translead for their generous donation of a 53-foot refrigerated trailer which will enhance our ability to deliver fresh produce and perishable food to communities in need across San Diego County,” said Casey Castillo, chief executive officer at San Diego Food Bank.
