AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - At the most recent Potter County Commissioner’s Court, members approved to extend the construction deadline for the Commons at St. Anthony to Dec. 31.

This change comes after developers cited a need for elevators inside the building to be replaced.

Potter County will also be contributing $30,000 dollars of their American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to help the project reach completion.

ARPA funds were given to the county by the state in lieu of COVID-19, but the window to allocate the funds is soon closing.
