Execution Set for Thursday For Curtis Windom After Decades of Legal Challenges Conclude
The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected a final appeal from Curtis Windom, clearing the way for his execution scheduled for Thursday. This decision follows a ruling by the Florida Supreme Court on August 21 that denied Windom’s last-ditch legal challenges, concluding more than three decades of appeals.
Windom, 66, was convicted in 1992 of three counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder.
